Friends in Christ Weekly Message
August 22, 2009

     After this a lot of his disciples left. They no longer wanted to be associated with him. Then Jesus gave the Twelve their chance: “Do you also want to leave?”
     Peter replied, “Master, to whom would we go? You have the words of real life, eternal life. We've already committed ourselves, confident that you are the Holy One of God.”
John 6:66-69 (Message*)

Jesus Christ does not force Himself on anyone. We each have the choice whether to cast our lot with Him. When we find the way difficult or have trouble understanding Him, we can make the choice of those disciples who left or of Peter and the others who stayed.

Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the One who brings real life? Are you committed to stay with Him?
