God cares for you, so turn all your worries over to him.
1 Peter 5:7 (CEV*)
We worry about all sorts of things. We worry about our financial condition. We worry about relationships. We worry about our health. We worry about what people think of us. We worry about current events. The list could go on and on.
What should we do with these worries? The apostle Peter tells us to turn all of them over to God. Why can we do that? Because God cares for us. If we are burdened by our worries instead of being relieved of them by having turned them over to God, it indicates we are not really trusting that God truly cares for us.
