     No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.
     Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?
Matthew 6:24-25 (NIV*)

Particularly in the more affluent parts of the world, we tend to look for security in the material resources we have. Jesus warns us that we can not serve God if we do that. We have to choose who or what we will serve. We can't have it both ways.

We are to trust fully in God. If we do that, we can be liberated from worrying about things like food, clothing, and material security.
