Friends in Christ Weekly Message
October 23, 2010

How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD Almighty!
My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD;
my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself,
     where she may have her young--a place near your altar,
     O LORD Almighty, my King and my God.
Blessed are those who dwell in your house;
     they are ever praising you.   Selah

Psalm 84:1-4 (NIV*)

Do your heart and flesh cry out for the living God?

We are taught that the living God dwells among and in us! Too often we erect barriers to block the sense of God's presence in and around us. I pray that we may drop them all, and experience God to the full.

When we do, we will be filled with a sense of blessing. Our voices - and much more, our whole lives - will praise God for it is so wonderful to be able to live in God's presence.

Bill Samuel
