     After all the people were baptized, Jesus was baptized. As he was praying, the sky opened up and the Holy Spirit, like a dove descending, came down on him. And along with the Spirit, a voice: “You are my Son, chosen and marked by my love, pride of my life.”
Luke 3:21-22 (Message*)

This Sunday is designated as the one to remember the Baptism of the Lord. This event marks the coming of the way for which John the Baptizer was preparing.

The Holy Spirit may not be seen by us in the form of a dove, but it does speak to us. The Spirit still tells us that Jesus is the beloved Son of God.

Do you live in gratitude that God sent His Son Jesus to reveal Himself to us? Are you allowing Christ to transform you from the inside out?
