Friends in Christ Weekly Message

Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes and see-
     how good God is.
Blessed are you who run to him.

God is so good, but how often we don't notice. We need to open ourselves, all our senses, the whole way we look at the world, to recognize this truth.

Today I saw it in the beautiful colors of the leaves and the cloud formations which looked like exquisite paintings. And I reflected, on my 62nd birthday, that the doctors had told my mother she couldn't have more children, and that if I managed to survive, I would certainly be severely physically and mentally handicapped. But she turned me over to God, and decades later I am still here with no handicaps!

The psalmist tells us we are blessed if we recognize the goodness of God and run to Him. Do you do this?
