     Then God spoke to Noah and his sons: “I'm setting up my covenant with you including your children who will come after you, along with everything alive around you - birds, farm animals, wild animals - that came out of the ship with you. I'm setting up my covenant with you that never again will everything living be destroyed by floodwaters; no, never again will a flood destroy the Earth.”

Sometimes we think of God's covenants as being only with humans. But, beginning with Genesis and extending into the New Testament, we see repeated references to God's care for other living creatures as well. We need to try to understand the significance of God covenanting with our fellow living creatures as well as ourselves as humans.

How do you live out the truth that God has covenanted with all other living creatures as well as humans?
