Friends in Christ Weekly Message

Present yourselves as building stones for the construction of a sanctuary vibrant with life, in which you'll serve as holy priests offering Christ-approved lives up to God.
1 Peter 2:5 (Message*)

We are to offer ourselves up to God so that Christ can build His sanctuary from us. Christ's sanctuary is a living one of His followers, not a physical place constructed with brick and mortar.

Each of us thus becomes a priest, offering a sacrifice of a life lived in Christ. We serve as Christ's hands and feet responding to the needs around us in His name.

Each of us needs to prayerfully consider whether we are presenting ourselves as building stones for Christ's sanctuary.
