Friends in Christ Weekly Message

I will bless you and make your descendants into a great nation. You will become famous and be a blessing to others. I will bless anyone who blesses you, but I will put a curse on anyone who puts a curse on you. Everyone on earth will be blessed because of you.
Genesis 12:2-3 (CEV*)

Abraham was blessed by God not just for himself. He was blessed to be a blessing - a blessing to everyone on earth, not just his own people group. This principle of our being blessed in order to be a blessing remains true today.

Do you look upon God's blessing as something for yourself? Or do you see it as equipping you to bless others?
