The good life begins in the fear of God -
Do that and you'll know the blessing of God.
His Hallelujah lasts forever!

In Biblical terms, the fear of God (often rendered as fear of the Lord) “is a fear conjoined with love and hope, and is therefore not a slavish dread, but rather filial reverence.” (Easton's Bible Dictionary) It is not the same as fear as we more customarily use the term, which scripture tells us is taken away by God's love.

We are talking here about a combination of awe and love and hope which is the way we should approach God. If that is the basis of our life, we are promised that we will know the blessing of God.
