Every day, you are kind, and at night you give me a song as my prayer to you, the living Lord God.
Psalm 42:8 (CEV*)
This psalm was written as the psalmist was downcast. In his struggle, he remembers the loving kindness of God.
When life gets us down, we too need to remember how much God loves us and how much God does for us. No matter what our outward circumstances, we are still being held in the loving hands of God.
