Friends in Christ Weekly Message
July 1, 2006

I pray to God - my life a prayer -
     and wait for what he'll say and do.
My life's on the line before God, my Lord
     waiting and watching till morning
     waiting and watching till morning.
Psalms 130:5-6 (Message*)

Too often we are inclined to rush ahead and do what seems best in our own mind. Then we may ask God to bless it.

The psalmist reminds us to make our life a prayer, and wait for God's direction. Would that we would be content to wait on the Lord before deciding our course of action.
