I promise you that you cannot get into God's kingdom, unless you accept it the way a child does.

Many of us have learned to take a critical approach to things. We approach things with a certain degree of skepticism. Even when we accept something, we often do it with some reservation.
This is not the way a little child approaches things. When something attracts a little child, the child welcomes it totally without question. A little child embraces something or someone wholeheartedly, trusting without reservation.
Jesus tells us we need to accept God as a little child does. We need to trust God completely and unreservedly. We need to embrace God with our whole hearts, holding nothing back.
Dear Lord, help us to set aside our critical thinking patterns and embrace you with our whole hearts. May we trust you completely and open ourselves up to you without reservation.
